The legendary director John Singleton passes away at age of 51. He brought us so many impactful and important real life stories in a cinematic experience. So many classic movies that are still loved and respect to this day. Films like Boyz n the Hood, 2 Fast and Furious, Baby Boy, Poetic Justice, and Hustle & Flow were really the beginning of great black movie stars in Hollywood today such as Taraji P. Henson, Tyrese, Cuba Gooding Jr, Morris Chestnut, and Terence Howard.
John suffered a stroke last week after experiencing issues with his legs. He checked himself into Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and suffered a stroke in his hospital room.
Our condolences goes out to his family and friends.
