Tanner Watkins Ex-Girlfriend Moves On With A New Man

Tanner Watkins was arrested earlier this year for the murder of Isiah Craig Fitzgerald for reacting to his Facebook profile photo with a laughing emoji.

Watkins’ profile photo showed him with his rumored girlfriend. After Fitzgerald commented on the post with emojis, Watkins responded with “what’s funny,” and an argument ensued until they agreed to meet in a park to fight. When the two met in the park, weapons were discharged, and several calls were placed to alert law enforcement about the gunfire.

According to a press release, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers discovered Isiah Craig Fitzgerald, who was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, and an 18-year-old girl who was also injured, according to police.

According to the release, the female victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Kaleb Ramsey and Watkins were eventually charged with first-degree murder, three counts of first-degree assault, four counts of unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.
