A brand-new trailer has emerged for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the follow-up to the 2019 cult classic, promising a bigger and better continuation of the saga.
The movie is a direct continuation of the first installment, in which Grace managed to escape the sinister plans of the wealthy and mysterious Le Domas family. Played again by Samara Weaving, Grace soon finds out that her escape from the family is just the beginning. The movie expands into a larger, more dangerous arena. This time, Grace is not alone; she is accompanied by her sister, Faith, played by Kathryn Newton.
Together, they find themselves in a deadly game for the High Seat of the Council, an elite council that allegedly runs the world. Four other families are after Grace for the throne, with the one who wins gaining ultimate power and the rest facing total annihilation.
Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The movie boasts an impressive cast that includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood. Written by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, the script is a direct continuation of the original.
