NIKE, Inc. announced senior leadership changes that will continue to build on its strong momentum and underscore its commitment to product innovation, serving athletes, and unrivaled brand storytelling while driving deeper integration across the business.
Heidi O’Neill, currently President, Consumer & Marketplace, will be promoted to President, Consumer, Product & Brand at NIKE, Inc., and Craig Williams, currently President, of Jordan Brand, will be promoted to President, Geographies & Marketplace at NIKE, Inc. NIKE, Inc.’s Matthew Friend, EVP & Chief Financial Officer, will expand his responsibilities to include Procurement, Global Places & Services, and Demand and Supply Management.

O’Neill will lead Nike’s global product engine and fully integrate its brand marketing storytelling in order to build deep relationships and engagement with the brand. She will be responsible for both Global Brand Marketing and Global Sports Marketing.
The Nike veteran of 24 years, most recently served as Nike’s President, Consumer & Marketplace, where she was in charge of Nike’s marketplace as well as four geographic operating regions. Previous positions included President of Nike Direct, where she oversaw Nike’s retail and digital-commerce operations. O’Neill was also in charge of developing and overseeing the Nike Women’s business.
Williams will be in charge of Nike’s four geographies and marketplaces across its Direct and wholesale operations. Williams will also oversee Nike’s Supply Chain and Logistics. Williams joined NIKE, Inc. as President, of Jordan Brand in 2019. During this time, Williams has led Jordan Brand to unprecedented growth, more than doubling revenue in the last four years and propelling the company to the second-largest footwear brand in the United States. Williams has decades of enterprise experience building global brands and deep consumer relationships, in addition to stewarding Jordan Brand at the intersection of sport, culture, and community.
O’Neill and Williams will be supported by a deep bench of Nike leadership as they lead the company through its next phase of innovation and growth while serving future generations of athletes. Sarah Mensah, currently Vice President/GM of North America, will take over as President of Jordan Brand. Converse’s current CEO, Scott Uzzell, will become Vice President/GM, of North America, reporting to Williams. Uzzell’s replacement will be announced soon. John Donahoe will be in charge of Jordan Brand and Converse.
Andy Campion, Chief Operating Officer, will be promoted to Managing Director, Strategic Business Ventures. Campion will work closely with Donahoe in his new role to identify and pursue new business opportunities that will drive disproportionate growth for the company. Campion’s new responsibilities include overseeing Nike Virtual Studios (NVS) and leading teams across Nike’s World Headquarters and Los Angeles-based offices.
After 16 years with NIKE, Inc., Michael Spillane, President, of Consumer Creation, will retire in 2023. NIKE, Inc. expresses gratitude to Michael for his significant contributions to the brand.
