Selena Gomez Kicks Off 2024 with Social Media Drama: Shades Justin Bieber on Instagram

Selena Gomez surprised everyone by liking an Instagram video that subtly mocked her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. The video, which has since gone viral, appears to mock Bieber even after he’s been married to Hailey Bieber for five years, despite Gomez’s claims of being happily married to music producer Benny Blanco.

The saga began when a fan account on Instagram posted a video of Gomez being asked by a reporter in the past about Bieber’s influence on her life, asking, “Justin Bieber has had a big impact on your life, how would you say he’s the most influenced person that you are today?” “I don’t think anybody cares,” Gomez responded curtly.

However, it appears that someone did care, as a fan account took the issue to X, formerly known as Twitter, calling out Gomez’s contradictory actions.

The social media storm quickly ensued, with fans and followers speculating on the motivations behind Gomez’s likes and her seemingly indifferent response to Bieber’s influence.

This latest development has reignited rumors and discussions about Gomez and Bieber’s complicated relationship, which was once considered one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. Fans are now wondering if there is more to the story than meets the eye, particularly as Gomez navigates her personal life in public.
