Shakira Responds To Gerard Piqué’s Xenophobic Comments

Gerard Piqué may appear to be in his feelings after the recent historical moments Shakira has had since he reportedly cheated on the Colombian icon.

Since the cheating news, Shakira surpassed Madonna to become the female artist with the most Guinness World Records.

In Piqué’s latest interview with the Spanish publication Jijantes FC, he took it upon himself to shred Shakira and her fans:

“I am very disappointed with what society is. So my ex is Latin American… you don’t know what I’ve gotten on social media from her fans. These people have no lives.”

Piqué is receiving more backlash for his xenophobic comment.

Shakira seemingly responds to her ex-partner Gerard Piqué’s recent comments in a new tweet, “Proud to be Latin American.” She showed off all the Latin American country’s flags in her tweet.
