Simiso Buthelezi: South African Boxer Reportedly In A Coma

In South Africa over the weekend, boxer Simiso Buthelezi appeared to suffer a head injury after being seconds away from winning a title fight.

Buthelezi was worryingly placed into a medically-induced coma after losing his equilibrium and attacking an invisible opponent.

Bheki Mngomezulu, Simiso Buthelezi head trainer revealed he’s still in a coma from his fight this weekend. Simiso has not moved or talked while being hospitalized. There may be a blood clot on his brain due to a blow to the head according to his doctor.
