The Mexican authorities are looking for social media influencer Nicolette Pardo Molina, who goes by “La Nicholette” and “La Muchacha del Salado,” as it was reported that she was kidnapped in broad daylight in a Culiacán neighborhood.
The office of the prosecutor for the state of Sinaloa launched the search program “Protocolo Alba” after Pardo Molina was reported missing on Tuesday in the area of Isla Musalá, according to several Mexican news agencies.
According to news sources, the kidnapping occurred in the afternoon near a small commercial area while Pardo Molina arrived in her distinct lilac-colored Tesla Cybertruck. Video footage from what is believed to be the car’s cameras reveals several armed men intercepting her and pushing her into a white sedan.
The Cybertruck was later taken away by the authorities, as reported. Pardo Molina could not be located by Wednesday, and authorities announced no suspects or arrests.
The local reports did not always agree on matters such as her age and the number of assailants, although there were reports of three men, and that the used car was a white Toyota Corolla.
Pardo Molina is known to have fans on both TikTok and Instagram and is also recognized for his work in adult content and small businesses, such as his boutique and merchandise, according to Mexican media.
There has been no word on a motive. There are some reports of rumors of a possible connection with organized crime in an area where the cartels have been wreaking havoc.
