Sophie Rain, a social media influencer, described one of the viral posts on her as “highly disrespectful” since it involved the use of AI-based visuals along with some false information about Rain becoming a Muslim.
The post made a wrong depiction of Rain experiencing a religious transformation in which she was shown crying, planning to rename herself as Sophia and deleting all her social media posts.
“this is the most disrespectful post i’ve ever seen please don’t use me for mocking someone else’s religion with ai,” tweeted Sophie Rain
The fictitious post contained two AI-based visuals of Rain, in which one image depicts her crying during an interview on a podcast. At the same time, another portrays her wearing a hijab, which is entirely false.
Rain, whose biography says “God First,” requested that her followers not make any such posts by using her visuals to mock anyone’s religion.
