These days, in the dog-eat-dog world of OnlyFans, feuding is as rampant as memes that go viral. When Sophie Rain and Bonnie Blue turned on each other, though, the world sat up and took notice, and fans never forgot. Sophie Rain has now opened up about the whole thing in a rare sit-down with Where Is The Buzz, dishing all about how it began, why it was significant, and if and when she’d ever put the hatchet away.
How It All Began: Misunderstandings or Meltdown?
Tasked with taking supporters through the history of the beef, Sophie left nothing to be desired.
“The whole thing with Bonnie started small, miscommunication, egos clashing, and it blew up because the internet loves conflict,” Rain summed up in exasperated tones laced with attitude. “Fans keep it alive more than we do at this point.”
They started out as minor grievances but escalated into one of the wildest internet content creator feuds in history. Twitter threads, Reddit rumors, and endless TikTok edits kept the beef simmering even as the women themselves attempted to put it behind them.
The Circus or the Business
Sophie had long believed that Bonnie’s behavior was contrary to everything that OnlyFans was supposed to be, a site of empowerment and freedom. In June, Rain openly criticized Bonnie for having “turned the platform into a circus.”
“It’s no longer women empowerment. It’s shock value, and she’s making a joke out of all of us,” Rain told The Blast. “We built this space to take control of our bodies and make money on our terms, not to fake pregnancies, marriages, and throw cake at people in public.”
Blue, of course, dived headlong into madness. From organizing a wedding with a fan, to broadcasting a fake arrest on the air, to promoting some alleged “petting zoo” in which she’d be nude and restrained in a glass cage, Bonnie seemed impossible to shake. Those antics, however, Sophie insisted, came at a price.
“Brands don’t take us seriously anymore. Media doesn’t take us seriously,,” added Rain. “I’m tired of having to explain that not all of us are doing circus acts for clicks.”
THE BAN THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
Bonnie Blue, who reportedly earned $800K a month from OnlyFans, got banned from the platform for violating terms with “extreme challenge content.”
According to one of her sources that spoke with The Sun UK, “Bonnie has gone too far… Her recent behavior has gone too far. She crossed the line, and OnlyFans had no other option but to step in.”
For Sophie Rain, the ban had been inevitable but not unexpected or surprising. She had planned for weeks how Bonnie’s shock-for-shock brand put the platform’s reputation at risk.
Could They Ever Work Together?
This is what the fans keep asking themselves: Will these two titans ever collaborate? Sophie’s answer was candid.
“Could we ever work together? Never say never, but right now I don’t see it,” she answered. “Some bridges aren’t just burned, they’re demolished. And that’s okay. Not everyone has to be friends in this industry.”
That’s a line that leaves just enough ambiguity for fans to speculate, but is specific enough that Sophie won’t be nice for PR.
