South Korean actress and model Jung Ho-yeon is the face of the 2026 BAPE and adidas collaboration, which is a continuation of their longstanding partnership.
Ho-yeon, who gained fame through the popular Netflix series “Squid Game,” posted 17 Instagram images of the collection. The images feature the actress wearing a blue soccer jersey with flame embroidery, combining BAPE’s ape logo with adidas’ sportier design.
The actress’s caption, “@adidasoriginals Away Kit,” is simple, allowing the images to speak for themselves.
Fans’ Reaction to the Post
The post gained traction almost immediately, with some commenting on Ho-yeon’s style and the collaboration.
She’s had my heart since S1,” one fan commented, referring to Ho-yeon’s character in “Squid Game.”
“That’s how I want to look in soccer jerseys, but stuff happens…,” another fan joked.
“Suddenly, I like soccer,” a third fan joked.
A longstanding partnership
The 2026 release of the collection continues a longstanding partnership between the two brands that has endured for more than a decade. The collaboration has consistently featured limited-edition items, including sneakers that blend streetwear and sportswear, such as camouflage Ultra Boosts.
