Since we are living in the live action remake days. Static Shock should be a live action film or a tv show on CW. It honestly should be a film though.
Back in the early 2000s Static Shock was animated television series that we all love. The DC comic show ran for four seasons, with 52 half-hour episodes in total.
The show revolves around Virgil Hawkins, an African-American boy, who uses the secret identity of ‘Static’ after exposure to a mutagen gas during a gang fight which gave him electromagnetic powers. Part of the DC animated universe, the series was produced by Warner Bros. Animation from a crew composed mostly of people from the company’s past shows, but also with the involvement of two of the comic’s creators, Dwayne McDuffie and Denys Cowan.
Oscar winner Matthew Cherry should be the director of the film or live action tv series.
DREAM CAST:
- Shameik Moore as Virgil Hawkins
- Zoe Renee as Sharon Hawkins
- Ross Lynch as Richie Foley
- Lauryn McClain as Daisy Watkins
- Wendell Pierce as Robert Hawkins
