The SUCCESSION series finale, “With Open Eyes,” drew nearly 3 million viewers (2.928 million) across Max and linear telecasts on Sunday night, setting a series high. This is a 68% increase over the 1.7 million viewers who watched the season three finale. Prior to the finale, the most viewers for Succession on a Sunday night were 2.75 million (4/30/23).
The Emmy-winning series is currently averaging 8.7 million viewers across the fourth season episodes, a 1.5 million viewer increase over season three.
The ten-episode fourth and final season of the Emmy®-winning HBO Original drama series, created by Jesse Armstrong, premiered on March 26 and will air on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his four grown children, Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Connor (Alan Ruck), explore themes of power and family dynamics.
BARRY’s series finale aired on Sunday night as well, with a total finale night viewing of 700,000 viewers across Max and linear telecasts, a 13% increase from the season three finale (620K on 6/12/22).
Due to the Succession finale’s lengthy running time, Barry’s start time was delayed, which caused viewing to be 20% higher than usual on a Monday and nearly double the audience to 1.35 million viewers. The season average for Barry is currently 3.4 million viewers.
