Supreme Unveils Political Collection with Public Enemy and UNDERCOVER

Supreme gives us the entire look book for the Public Enemy x UNDERCOVER x Supreme collection releasing this week.

This collection will have a pretty large capsule of t-shirts, parka hoodies, jackets, vest, button-ups and pants. There will also be accessories, including Undercover’s signature graphical coin purses, 14-gold necklaces and “Fear of a Black Planet Rug.” Lastly, this collection will have a special edition Doc Martens shoe.

Each piece will pay homage by having artwork form Public Enemy’s 1990s album, ‘Fear of a Black Planet.’

If you are not familiar with Public Enemy, they’re an iconic American Hip-Hop group that paved the way for political and conscious rap music. One of there biggest hits was “Fight the Power,” which discussed equality, blackness and fighting for what we believe in or stand for.

The Public Enemy x UNDERCOVER x Supreme collection will release online and at Supreme locations on Thursday, March 15th. Japan will get the release on March 17th . Supreme website states that the a portion of the proceeds will be donated to ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union.
