Sydney Sweeney stars in Michael Mohan’s upcoming thriller “Immaculate,” which is a cinematic revelation. The film’s distributor, NEON, has recently released the official trailer, which provides a glimpse into the chilling world created by Andrew Lobel’s debut screenplay.

The story centers on Cecilia, played by Sweeney, a woman of unwavering faith thrust into the idyllic Italian countryside. Cecilia is welcomed into a prestigious convent, but she quickly discovers that the picture-perfect facade conceals a labyrinth of dark and horrifying secrets.

Sweeney leads an ensemble cast that includes Simona Tabasco, Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giampiero Judica, and Giorgio Colangeli. The film has a strong production team, including Primetime Emmy-nominated producer Will Greenfield and executive producers Christopher Casanova and John Friedberg.

Primetime Emmy-winner David Bernard, known for “The White Lotus,” will produce the film alongside Jonathan Davino, Micahel Heimler, and Oscar-nominated Teddy Schwarzman. Notably, Sydney Sweeney plays a dual role in “Immaculate,” both starring and producing.

As the first trailer immerses audiences in the ominous depths alongside Sweeney, the excitement for the film’s release on March 22, 2024, grows. “Immaculate” promises to be an enthralling cinematic experience that combines faith, suspense, and the haunting beauty of the Italian countryside.
