Disney+ has announced the highly anticipated final season of Lucasfilm Animation’s acclaimed series, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch.” The third season promises to be an epic culmination of the fan-favorite animated series, which began as a spinoff from the Emmy®-winning “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
The Bad Batch will face their most difficult challenges yet this season as they work to reunite with Omega. Omega faces her own set of challenges within a remote Imperial science lab, heightening the stakes for the entire group. With team fractures and threats looming from all sides, the Bad Batch must form unexpected alliances, embark on perilous missions, and use all of their acquired knowledge to break free from the Empire’s grasp.
The series has an impressive voice cast, including Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jimmi Simpson, Noshir Dalal, and Wanda Sykes. Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Carrie Beck serve as executive producers, alongside Josh Rimes and senior producer Alex Spotswood. Rau, as supervising director, is joined by Corbett, the head writer.
Fans can mark their calendars: “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” premieres its final season with the first three episodes on Wednesday, February 21st, exclusively on Disney+. The excitement continues with a carefully crafted episode schedule that culminates on May 1st with Episode 315, “The Cavalry Has Arrived.”
