The official trailer for The Last Sunrise is out; the romantic drama stars Maia Reficco, Fernando Lindez, and Eva Longoria. The film will start streaming on Prime Video on August 26th.
Based on the novel by Anna Todd, best known for the After series, the plot revolves around Ry, played by Reficco, a college student diagnosed with a chronic disease. During the summer spent with her mom (played by Longoria), she meets Julián (Lindez), the man she falls for. As she learns how to enjoy the moment, Ry’s illness and family secrets may destroy her life during the remaining days of her stay.
Directed by Carlson Young from a screenplay written by Anna Klassen, the movie is produced by Jennifer Gibgot, Lena Roklin, Andrew Panay, Brian Pitt, and Anna Todd. Amazon MGM Studios presents the feature; the production companies are Ethea Entertainment, Pitt Street Productions, and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
