Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Ted Lasso, the Emmy-winning comedy produced by and starring Jason Sudeikis.
The 10-episode season premieres on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with an episode. New episodes air every Wednesday until October 7.
In the fourth season of the show, Ted returns to Richmond to undertake what the creators describe as his greatest challenge yet: coaching the women’s football team of the second division. Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to jump before looking at where their feet are headed as they embrace opportunities they did not foresee.
Returning to the cast of this comedy drama are Emmy Award-winners Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein, along with Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. New additions to the cast include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
Joining Sudeikis as executive producers are Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein also appears in the executive producers’ list and joins other writers of the fourth season, including Leann Bowen. This is in addition to Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh, who serve as writers and producers, and Sasha Garron, who is a co-producer. Julia Lindon is a writer of the season, with Dylan Marron the story editor of the fourth season of Ted Lasso.
The executive producers for the show are Bill Lawrence through Doozer Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer are the additional executive producers for the show from Doozer. Ted Lasso was created and written by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt, drawing from a pre-existing format and characters of NBC Sports.
Since its global premiere on Apple TV+, Ted Lasso has been making waves, breaking records and earning rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Its first season was the most Emmy-nominated comedy show, and it went on to earn back-to-back Emmys for outstanding comedy series in its first two seasons, an achievement few shows have matched.
The first three seasons of Ted Lasso are streaming globally on Apple TV+.

I make over $220 an hour while working from home and looking after my two kids. I was hesitant at first, but when my friend, who earns more than $35,000 a month, encouraged me to try it, I went for it. It’s been amazing! I have more time and money than I ever thought possible. Want to see how?
