27-year-old Teneisha Griffith has sadly been found dead after reportedly going missing on March 19th. The family of Teneisha Griffith confirmed her death last Friday on Facebook.

“Sadly, It is with a heavy and broken heart that we say Teneisha is no longer with us,” Rena Walters wrote after thanking Griffith’s friends and family, law enforcement officials, the people of Tampa and the news media. “Our family is irreparably broken. We will never be the same.”

Griffith was last heard from on the evening of March 19, 2022, and Griffith’s car, a white 2008 Nissan Altima with Florida tag QSBE04, has not been found. She reportedly texted with her father during the evening on March 18th. Her family and friends became very concerned when she didn’t respond to her daughter’s texts or calls, which was very unusual for her. Griffith was a no show during a scheduled event with her friends on March 19th.

Once the weekend was over her family reported her missing the following Monday after she still wasn’t responding to any of the messages in the group text. She was no show for work on Tuesday.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call on March 24th around 1:30 p.m. about a body being discovered in Withlacoochee State Forest. Which was 50 miles northeast of Tampa Bay, Florida, where Griffith was reported missing.
