Tennessee High School Student Pepper Sprays Teacher For Taking Her Phone

After the teacher took her phone, a student at Antoich High School in Tennessee was caught on camera pepper spraying the person twice.

Social media users have been discussing the incident that was caught on camera since Friday, May 5, 2023.

A Reddit user, @Lazy_Mouse3803, posted the video in its original form. When the teacher confiscated the student’s phone, she was “texting and Googling answers for her school work,” according to one social media user.

Despite the fact that the student had not pepper sprayed her teacher the first time, the video of her assaulting her teacher a second time went viral.

Social media users are outraged because the offending student is accused of “straight up assaulting” the professor.

This was not the first time something similar happened at Antioch High School. The same teacher reportedly received a punch to the face two months prior after confiscating another student’s phone for cheating.

Many users discussed ways to increase the autonomy of high school teachers. Others debated whether or not the student was permitted to bring pepper spray to school.
