The Diplomat and The Night Agent Top Netflix’s English TV List

The Diplomat and The Night Agent took the top two spots on the Netflix English TV List as viewers flocked to political dramas.

The Diplomat, starring Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell, had 57.48M hours of viewing this week and was in the top 10 in 86 nations. The Night Agent maintained its position as the #5 video on the Most Popular List with an additional 56.65M hours of viewing. The show has received more than 76M views after 28 days (626.97M hours divided by 8.19 runtime hours).

Fans want more BEEF, as the dark comedy came in at #3 with 42.81M hours watched. The fifth week of Love is Blind season four saw 39.48M hours of viewing during the week of the eagerly awaited reunion. Obsession, American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing, and Wednesday were among the returning titles.

With 25.7M hours watched and placing in the top 10 in 92 nations, The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die topped the English Films List for the second consecutive week.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (6.55M hours viewed) and A Tourist’s Guide to Love (13.4M hours watched) made the list.

Murder Mystery 2 and Chupa continued to be on the list with 8.39 million hours watched and more than 98 million views since their debut (149.57 million hours watched divided by 1.52 runtime hours).

Mexican comedy Queens on the Run, which received 14.68M hours of viewing, became the top non-English film. Thai drama Hunger received 14.08 million views and entered the Most Popular list at number nine with 68.89 million views overall.

The list includes the German Academy Award winner All Quiet on the Western Front, the Spanish horror Phenomena, and the Korean action-adventure Kill Boksoon. One More Time and the Turkish thriller Chokehold both made their debuts on the list.

The Marked Heart, a Colombian drama, entered the list at the top with 52.31M hours watched in the non-English TV category for Season 2. Season 1, which received 26.75M hours of viewing, was also watched again by viewers. The dramas Welcome to Eden (Season 2, new to the list; Season 1, back) and Rough Diamonds (Season 1, new to the list) are also new. The Glory, Alchemy of Souls, Part 1, Korea’s Queenmaker, and other old favorites returned.
