The drama is back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and messier than ever. OWN’s hit reality series Love & Marriage: Detroit is making its highly anticipated return on Saturday, April 12, at 8 PM ET/PT, and if you thought last season brought the heat, just wait. With relationships hanging by a thread, friendships on the verge of collapse, and Detroit’s most ambitious couples fighting for their place in the city, this season promises jaw-dropping confrontations, career shake-ups, and some truly wild moments that will have everyone talking.

Meet the Couples: Love, Ambition, and Plenty of Tension

This season follows five powerhouse couples as they navigate the highs and lows of marriage, business, and personal growth in the heart of Detroit. With their successes, struggles, and straight-up scandalous moments, these couples prove that making it work in both love and business is not easy. Egos, ambition, and deep-seated conflicts constantly threaten to tear them apart.

Russell & Kolby Harris

Russell and Kolby have been married for five years and recently welcomed their second daughter. Kolby is drowning in motherhood responsibilities and has reached her breaking point with Russell’s lack of support at home. While Russell remains dedicated to his work as a pastor and oversees Soar Detroit, a non-profit focused on literacy and sports, his attention is now centered on his newest project, the grand opening of his gym. As Kolby struggles to balance it all on her own, tensions continue to rise. With emotions running high, their marriage faces a critical test that could determine their future together.

Brandon & Kristina Bowman-Smith

After a rocky trial separation, Brandon and Kristina are back under the same roof and working to rebuild their marriage. Kristina, a well-known Detroit stylist and influencer, is determined to reclaim her dream of becoming a singer, but her confidence is fragile. At the same time, Brandon, the owner of Star Factory, an artist development program, is fully committed to pushing her to perform, even when she feels uncertain. With unresolved issues lingering between them, their journey back together may be far more complicated than they expected.

Anthony & Dr. LaToya Thompson

With 16 years of marriage, three kids, and a whole lot of tension, Anthony and LaToya are struggling to find balance. LaToya, a perfectionist and the owner of Opulence Wines, is tired of carrying the financial burden while also feeling completely disconnected from her children. They trust Anthony with their thoughts and feelings more than they do with her, which only deepens the divide. Meanwhile, Anthony is launching a podcast that is guaranteed to shake things up, and one interview is about to spiral completely out of control.

Marcel & Kimberly Dobine

Marcel and Kimberly, married for nine years, are no strangers to drama, especially when it comes to their ongoing feud with the Samuels. Kimberly, a powerhouse event planner and founder of Posh & Popular, has never been afraid to speak her mind, and this season, she’s got plenty to say. Meanwhile, Marcel, who works in the mortgage industry, is forced to deal with the fallout of his wife’s fiery confrontations.

Bravo & Lakeita Samuels

Bravo and Lakeita have been together for a whopping 21 years but have only been married for seven. While Lakeita, a social service manager, tries to keep things steady at home, Bravo is making major moves in Detroit’s nightlife scene as a hospitality entrepreneur. But between his clubs, his friendships, and a brewing war with the Dobines, Bravo is stirring up plenty of controversy. And when he calls out Marcel for Kimberly’s “disrespectful” behavior at his event, all hell breaks loose.

Episode Breakdown: The Drama Kicks Off Immediately

OWN isn’t wasting any time. This season is coming in HOT, and the episode list is proof that tensions will explode right from the start.

April 12: “Daddy’s Home”

Brandon moves back in, but the kids have their own thoughts about it. LaToya attempts to reconnect with her children, but will they open up? Kolby is on the edge of a breakdown, feeling abandoned by Russell when it comes to raising their daughter. Meanwhile, a group dinner turns tense and messy when Bravo confronts Marcel over Kimberly’s shady behavior at his event.

April 19: “Podcast Pop Off”

Brandon pushes Kristina to step into the spotlight with her music, but is she ready? Russell celebrates his gym opening, but not everyone is supportive. Anthony starts butting heads with Brandon and Bravo, questioning their friendship. Meanwhile, LaToya and Kolby bond over the struggles of motherhood, and Anthony’s podcast spirals into total chaos when he and Kristina clash.

April 26: “Welcome to the Staycation!”

The couples take a much-needed staycation, but this trip is anything but relaxing. LaToya calls out Kristina over Chelsea, and the tension between Brandon and LaToya escalates when he makes a shady comment about her wine on the podcast. Kristina throws Kolby a surprise sprinkle, but the celebrations are cut short when Anthony accuses Bravo and Brandon of plotting against him.

May 3: “Pressure Makes Diamonds”

Brandon pushes Kristina onto the stage, despite her being full of self-doubt. Will she pull it together or fall apart under pressure? Meanwhile, Bravo puts on a major performance at his new venue, but the show is really backstage. LaToya calls Chelsea “ghetto,” and the two go at it in an all-out battle. Kolby gets involved, and Kristina finds herself in the middle.

May 10: “Reunited and it Feels ‘Good’?”

Carlos King reunites the couples for a tell-all reunion, and tea is scalding hot. The Smiths dish on the highs and lows of their marriage, the Harrises talk about Kolby’s pregnancy, and the Samuels talk about the health of their marriage for the first time. But with all the unfinished arguments, will this reunion provide closure or contribute to even more drama?

May 17: “From a Bird to a Peacock”

The reunion still rages on, and Kolby and Kristina try to mend their friendship but Kimberly also has some choice words for Kristina. Anthony’s notorious “D-riding” statement is finally brought up, and the guys get into a huge fight over Anthony bragging. Just when things settle down, Chelsea takes the stage and burns the entire thing down.

From Kingdom Reign Entertainment, Love & Marriage: Detroit is executive produced by Carlos King, the mastermind behind some of reality TV’s biggest hits.
