The Weeknd is dropping his new album dawn FM this Friday.
The King of the Fall first teased The Dawn era during his acceptance for “Top Hot 100 Artist” award at the 2021 Billboard Awards. “I just want to say the After Hours are done and The Dawn is coming,” he told the fans.
The Weeknd dropped the first single off the album titled “Take My Breath” that debuted at number 6. on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On New Year’s Day, he shared a screenshot of his text conversation with his XO Records co-founder, Creative Director, and best friend LaMar Taylor.

The ‘Blinding Lights’ creator also made an Instagram post yesterday telling his fans to “wake up at dawn tomorrow.”
The Weeknd released a trailer today for his new album “Dawn FM” which includes features from Tyler, The Creator, Oneohtrix Point Never and Lil Wayne. The legendary Quincy Jones and Jim Carrey will also contribute to the album. The album is being released this Friday, January 7th.
