Three men have anonymously filed lawsuits in New York alleging that music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted them while they were unconscious. The incidents are claimed to have occurred between 2019 and 2022.
The lawsuits, filed under the state’s Adult Survivors Act, outline deeply disturbing accounts. Each man alleges they were given drinks by Combs or his associates and subsequently lost consciousness, only to awaken during or after the alleged assaults.
Allegations Detail Harrowing Encounters
One of the plaintiffs, referred to as John Doe 1, claims he met with Combs to discuss unpaid wages. During the meeting, Combs allegedly served him a drink that caused him to feel drowsy within minutes. The man says he woke up to find Combs assaulting him. When he demanded that Combs stop, the lawsuit alleges that Combs responded, “I’m almost done.”
John Doe 2 recounts a similar experience, claiming he attended an afterparty at the Park Hyatt Hotel hosted by Combs. After consuming a drink, he reportedly felt his vision spinning and lost consciousness. The lawsuit alleges that during brief moments of regained consciousness, the man saw a man and a woman sitting on the bed recording the assault on a camera. The next morning, he says he was handed $2,500 by the individual who filmed the incident.
The third plaintiff, John Doe 3, states he was at a party hosted at Combs’ East Hampton mansion. After consuming a drink, he says he began falling in and out of consciousness. The lawsuit alleges that he woke up to find Combs and others assaulting him.
Legal and Public Fallout
These allegations come amid growing scrutiny of Combs, who has recently faced other lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct. Last month, R&B artist Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs alleging years of abuse, which was settled within days.
Representatives for Combs have not commented on the latest allegations, but the music mogul has previously denied accusations of wrongdoing. In response to Ventura’s lawsuit, he stated: “I vehemently deny any harm or wrongdoing.”
The lawsuits are filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows victims of sexual abuse to pursue civil claims beyond the statute of limitations. This window, which closes at the end of December 2024, has prompted a wave of similar lawsuits against high-profile individuals.
