Tori Kelly’s new single “missin u” was released in March, and we realized how much we’d been missing her. Thankfully, the singer has announced her upcoming EP, tori, which will be released on Friday, July 28th.
Kelly is set to make a splash this summer with her self-titled project, her first release on her new label home Epic Records.
She’s shared the cover art for the EP, but details about Tori are scarce so far. What we do know is that the EP will include seven tracks, one of which will be the single and another will be an “R&B edit” of a yet-to-be-released song.
In terms of the musical direction she’ll be taking on tori, “missin u” suggests that she’s currently in her Y2K pop and R&B bag, and she’s loving it. The bubbly sound has proven to be a great fit for her. Tori Kelly, on the other hand, can sing anything and in any genre, so we fully expect to be wowed.
Set your alarm clocks and mark July 28th on your calendars, Tori Kelly fans. The tori EP is now available for pre-order and pre-save on digital streaming services ahead of its release.
