Travis Scott, the diamond-certified, eight-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist, performer, producer, songwriter, and director, continues to forge ahead, breaking records across the board with his latest album UTOPIA and sold-out North American UTOPIA – CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour.
Already crowned the best-selling male artist of 2023, his fourth studio album UTOPIA is officially the best-selling hip-hop album of 2023, the first in five years to spend an entire month at the top of the Billboard charts, and boasting the highest debut in vinyl sales for a rap album in a single week since 1991.
Furthermore, Spotify named UTOPIA the most streamed album in its first week in 2023, and Apple Music confirmed the most album first-day streams in 2023.
Now, with his sold-out North American UTOPIA – CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour underway, with Dallas Observer hailing the show as a “true spectacle,” and The Source heralding the performer as “electrifying,” Travis Scott breaks the record as the first rapper to ever headline and sell-out Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium.
The UTOPIA – CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour has sold 500,000 tickets, grossing more than $80 million.
The critically acclaimed multi-hyphenate has also broken the record for most tour merchandise sold, selling more than $1 million in a single night at both the Dallas American Airlines Center last week and Denver’s Bell Arena on Sunday ($1.06 million).
Travis Scott’s exhilarating North American UTOPIA – CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour will continue through the rest of 2023, stopping in all major cities. For a complete schedule, go here.
Every ticket sold will donate $2 to the Cactus Jack Foundation, a 501(c)3 with a mission to uplift Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs for HBCU college students, and funding for education and creative endeavors.
Travis Scott’s CIRCUS MAXIMUS film premiered earlier this year in select AMC theaters, where it quickly sold out. Takes his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey around the world, woven together by UTOPIA’s speaker’s rattling sounds.
The film is a surreal and psychedelic journey that brings together a group of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of the human experience and the power of soundscapes.
Travis Scott wrote and directed the film, along with Gaspar Noe, Valdimar Jóhannsson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Harmony Korine, and Kahlil Joseph.
