On Friday, the president said that he spoke to Kanye West about rapper A$AP Rocky, who is currently being held in a Swedish prison without charges following a street fight. Trump later said he called the prime minister of Sweden who assured him the rapper would be “treated fairly.”

Trump said he has been called by “many, members of the African-American community, friends of mine,” with requests to help A$AP Rocky, who he says has tremendous support not only from African-Americans but from “everybody in this country, because we’re all one.”
