Twitch Streamer Yonna commented on Megan Thee Stallion and NBA player Klay Thompson’s breakup.
“You can really not trust no man,” she noted. “It’s proven and proven time again.” She recommended that viewers, particularly younger ones, be careful around their romantic partners. “Treat them guilty until proven innocent,” she said, noting that she remembers Yotta telling her once that “every man should start off in jail and prove why they should be let out.”
Her comments were made following the announcement by the rapper Megan Thee Stallion, 31, that she had decided to part ways with Klay Thompson, 34. This is what she said to TMZ.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Before making this public, the rapper revealed details about her relationship in a post on her Instagram Story. Without mentioning the name of her former boyfriend, she explained that cheating and cold feet were among the reasons why she called things off.
Klay Thompson, guard on the Dallas Mavericks, has yet to respond to the rapper’s claims.
Their relationship lasted less than a year. Not long ago, in an interview with People, the singer spoke enthusiastically about her romance, saying she suddenly felt at ease after undergoing a period of personal development through therapy.
“I had been going to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started doing for myself. Maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right.”
To celebrate Klay Thompson’s 31st birthday in February, the rapper received a blue Bentley, which she proudly posted to Instagram with the caption “A time was definitely had. THANK YOU BABY”
