Uma Thurman and Henry Golding Set to Join “The Old Guard 2,” Returning Charlize Theron and Kiki Layne

Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) and Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) join the cast of the sequel to the action film The Old Guard.

Thurman and Golding to join the previously announced returning cast from the original film Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Veronica Ngo, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Victoria Mahoney will replace Gina Prince-Bythewood at the helm of the sequel. Greg Rucka will pen the film.

David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger for Skydance; Charlize Theron, Beth Kono, and AJ Dix for Denver and Delilah; Marc Evans for Marc Evans Productions; and Gina Prince-Bythewood serve as producers.

The Old Guard is one of Netflix’s most popular films to date with 186 million hours viewed in its first 28 days of release.

Skydance’s recent film slate with Netflix includes The Old Guard, 6 Underground, The Adam Project, and the upcoming Heart of Stone.
