“So do we, or do we not have free trade with Wakanda? Also where are things at on negotiations with Agrabah?”

Some of the comments coming in after the USDA temporarily added Wakanda to its list of free-trade partners:

“Over the past few weeks, the Foreign Agricultural Service staff who maintain the Tariff Tracker have been using test files to ensure that the system is running properly. The Wakanda information should have been removed after testing and has now been taken down.” — A USDA spokesperson, speaking to NBC

People were surprised to see the Kingdom of Wakanda listed as a US free trade partner in a tariff tracker on the US Department of Agriculture’s website. But officials soon explained that the nation had only been added as part of a test, and removed it from the system. Wakanda is an East African country home to Black Panther in the Marvel universe.
