Virginia Teacher Allieh Kheradmand Arrested For Alleged ‘Sexual Relationship’ With A Student

According to police, a teacher in Virginia was detained on Thursday on suspicion of having a “sexual relationship” with a student.

The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said 33-year-old Allieh Kheradmand, a learning handicaps educator at James Madison High School in Vienna, was captured and charged with four counts of indecent liberties and is as of now being held without bond.

Police say that a student told them that he or she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with Kheradmund which was then forwarded to authorities on Wednesday. According to police, Kheradmund has been employed by Fairfax County Public Schools since 2016.

The district conveyed a letter to families at the school about the following arrest of Allieh Kheradmand:

Dear Madison High School Families and Staff,

We need to inform you that Fairfax County police have announced that a teacher at Madison High School has been arrested and charged with four counts of indecent liberties by a custodian of a student. The employee has been placed on administrative leave.

In Madison and across FCPS, our primary responsibility is the safety and security of everyone who enters our doors. This is something we take very seriously. As educators, we are entrusted with the well-being of the children in our care every day. It deeply affects us when someone appears to have broken that trust. The Fairfax County Police Department revealed that this is still an ongoing investigation.
