One TikTok user recently gained traction for discussing her struggles making female friendships and how they’ve opened her eyes to the challenges men face when living single.

Brianna Kource posted the TikTok titled “I’m starting to understand why men choose to be single.”

“I’m starting to actually have a little bit more remorse for men out there,” Kource said in the video. “I feel like it’s a huge trend now that men ain’t (expletive) and this whole generation of dating men, which I sometimes agree with.”

Kource goes on to say that this view comes more from her experiences with female friendships than from relationships with men.

“But at the same time, honestly, I don’t have a lot of girlfriends,” she said. “And every time I try to make more girlfriends, I’m quickly reminded why I don’t have them. I feel like they’re a lot of work and they’re so picky and they’re never pleased.”

She says the trend applies to women her age as well.

“Like I have some friends or some family when I spend a lot of time, girls my age, too, like 25, 26, just nothing pleases them,” Kource said. “They, everything has a complaint, the food, the weather. And they don’t even realize that they’re saying every thought out loud. And it’s exhausting, and it’s not fun to hear.”

Kource believes people should think more before making comments that aren’t necessarily uplifting or important.

“I wish people could just sometimes keep certain comments in themselves that’s not actually uplifting or even worth saying,” she said. “But, man, like it’s, it’s, it’s exhausting.”
