White Woman Says You Can Spot a Hidden Trump Voter by How They Describe Unhoused People

TikTok user shared in her video that the way white people talk about homelessness and immigration is a good reflection of their politics, which, according to her, some of them start to hide.

“How white people talk about homelessness tells you everything you need to know about them,” Kylie Brewer opened the video.

She went on to talk about what she thinks the political shift will be among some voters.

“And in the era of people starting to become closeted conservatives especially as the pendulum continues to swing between right and left, as again we see the cyclical pattern throughout history, what’s going to happen is a lot of conservative people are going to start trying to hide their political beliefs, and they’re going to start hiding that they voted for Trump, which is already occurring,” she said.

Brewer added that racism remains pervasive.

“Obviously, microaggressions about race are very, very prevalent and difficult to hide, that sort of sneaky racism,” she said.

She pointed out that the biggest indication for her is how they describe the homeless people.

“But the best way you could tell is if people describe unhoused people in the way they do,” Brewer said. “So if it’s with zero compassion and calling them drug addicts or a bunch of other insults, it really does suggest a lack of empathy that can extend to anyone.”

That, according to her, is because most people don’t understand the financial instability many Americans face.

“Because most conservative white people do not understand that the majority of Americans are only one missed paycheck away from homelessness,” she explained.

According to her, the same test will apply to discussions about immigration.

“So really pay attention to the way that white people are talking about immigrants, talk about people who are coming to this country to start a new life for themselves,” Brewer said.

She pointed to certain words that signal hidden politics.

“If they call them illegals or any other term that is dehumanizing, hobos or whatever, those are really, really bad terms that indicate how someone views the world,” Brewer explained.

She concluded her video by reminding the viewers of something.

“So pay very close attention to this,” she said. “Bye, y’all.”
