Karrueche Tran is going purple on October 18th this year. She will be supporting LGBTQ youth on spirit day.

Spirit Day is a means of speaking out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. Pledging to “go purple” on Spirit Day is a way for everyone — forward-thinking companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends — to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.

Britney Spears, Barbra Streisand, Luis Fonsi, Adam Lambert, Sterling K. Brown, Troye Sivan, Sia, Allison Janney, the Boy Erased cast and plenty of other prominent celebrities, brands and media presences have taken the time to celebrate Spirit Day and honor LGBTQ youth by sharing messages of support and solidarity.

You can help raise awareness by taking a stand for them Thursday, October 18.

Wear a purple shirt and post your picture on social media using the hashtags spirit day or choose kindness.
