It has come to light that the hacker group responsible for leaking intimate photos and videos belonging to Will Levis and his former girlfriend, Gia Duddy, in May 2024 has been identified by the Tennessee Titans’ star quarterback. Will Levis’ mother, Beth Levis, spoke about the Eastern European hacking group in the latest episode of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast.
According to Beth Levis, the extensive cybersecurity investigation revealed that the videos and photos were taken on Will Levis’ phone or computer when he was in college, about 1 or 2 years ago.
“We did find out that actually this content was stolen and his private either laptop or digital platform/phone was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college,” Beth Levis said. “We come to find out this was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple they can then expose.”
The videos and photos, which showed Levis alongside his ex-girlfriend, made rounds on various social media sites about two and a half months after their breakup. Levis reportedly hired a team of cybersecurity experts to investigate the leak and took down the videos and photos, most of which have already been removed.
“The first words out of Will’s mouth were, ‘I’m so sorry, mom,’ and it just broke my heart,” Beth Levis said.
There were rumors that Gia Duddy leaked the photos and videos. However, Beth denied those reports, claiming that Gia Duddy was actually another victim of the hackers and played no part in their leak.
Will Levis and Gia Duddy dated for approximately three years. Their relationship began when both attended Penn State before the QB transferred to the University of Kentucky. The two broke up shortly before Levis entered the 2023 rookie season for the Tennessee Titans. In addition, Levis was drafted by the team in the third round (33rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Will Levis is now the Titans’ third-string QB. Meanwhile, Gia Duddy is a full-fledged social media content creator with over 300,000 Instagram subscribers and 650,000 TikTok followers.
