A Winside Public Schools science teacher got arrested over the weekend for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student in the school district.
The science teacher got identified as Cali Heikes. She will most likely face multiple charges for her alleged relationship with the student. Wayne County Sheriff Jason Dwinell revealed they’ve brought Heikes into custody on Sunday afternoon.
Dwinell did not disclose the specific charges Heikes is facing since she did not formally get charged by prosecutors. He also revealed that Heikes posted bond following a court hearing on Monday.
