WWE wrestler Gionna Daddio, widely recognized by her ring name “Liv Morgan” and boasting over 2 million followers on Instagram found herself in legal trouble after being arrested on Thursday in Central Florida. The arrest stems from accusations of felony marijuana possession, according to reports from TMZ.
Daddio, 29, drew law enforcement attention when she was observed driving erratically in her Jeep near The Villages, as reported by local authorities. A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy detailed in an arrest report obtained by Villages News noted that Daddio had crossed over street lines “several times,” prompting a closer inspection.
Upon approaching Daddio’s Jeep, the deputy reportedly detected the distinct smell of marijuana. Subsequent searches of the vehicle revealed marijuana in a pink fuzzy bag and a vape pen containing an oil-like substance.
The WWE star, residing in Springhill as per her statement, was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was later released after posting a $3,000 bond, according to jail records.
Daddio now faces charges of marijuana possession not exceeding 20 grams and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid. The incident has stirred discussions among fans and the wrestling community, with many expressing surprise at the legal troubles faced by the popular WWE personality.
