Yara Shahidi Has Been Casted as Tinkerbell in the Upcoming Live Action ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ for Disney

‘Grown-ish’ star Yara Shahidi will play Tinkerbell in David Lowery’s upcoming live-action ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ for Disney, starring alongside Jude Law who will play Captain Hook in the film, according to Deadline.

Taylor Swift, Zendaya and Margot Robbie were all considered for the role of Tinker Bell in David Lowery’s ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’. The role eventually ended up going to Yara Shahidi.

‘Grown-ish’ has produced two Disney live action stars in Halle Bailey and Yara Shahidi.
