Production for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ has wrapped filming after countless delays due to COVID-19 and multiple script changes to the film. The upcoming blockbuster movie began filming back in June 2021.
While the script wasn’t fully done, they did have some drawbacks after Letitia Wright got injured while filming. They continued filming in her absence but were very limited because she’s the star of the film. Production received another drawback after the COVID-19 vaccines mandates were made and Wright refused to get vaccinated. This caused the film to be pushed back to a later release date.
The news of production being wrapped came from cinematographer Autumn Duralad’s Instagram story. Posting a picture of a drink with the caption saying “the end” as well as Hairstylist Nikki Wright celebrating the milestone on her Instagram confirming that the reshoots took longer than most thought stating “Day 117 of 88 was so many things! That’s a wrap.” The post has now been deleted.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently scheduled to open in theaters on November 11, 2022!
