YNW Melly’s mother, Jamie King, has made an unexpected revelation amid the high-stakes legal drama surrounding his double-murder trial.
As Melly prepares to return to court after a mistrial, King has taken an unusual route to financial gain, proudly sharing her lucrative venture into the world of OnlyFans.
In an exclusive interview with renowned YouTube blogger Tasha K, King divulged the astounding financial success of her inaugural day on the adult content platform. Nonchalantly, she boasted about a substantial income ranging between 40,000 to 50,000 dollars, a windfall she continues to witness in real-time.
Seizing the spotlight afforded by her familial connection to the embattled rapper, King strategically leveraged her notoriety to fuel interest in her explicit content. When questioned about her unconventional career move, she offered a candid response, “Why not? You make money while you sleep. And, you know — I turned 40 this year. Why not do something crazy?”
The revelation left Tasha K visibly stunned as King, with a hint of amusement, hinted at the “pretty epic” revenue stream she generated in less than a full 24 hours. “And that was not even a full 24 hours,” she added, emphasizing the ongoing nature of her financial success.
Meanwhile, YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, remains at the center of a gripping legal saga, accused of the brutal execution-style murder of two fellow YNW rappers, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas, in 2018. Locked behind bars for the past five years without bail, Melly steadfastly maintains his innocence.
As the second trial looms, the juxtaposition of his mother’s newfound financial prosperity and his continued legal battles paints a complex portrait of a family navigating the tumultuous intersection of fame, legal scrutiny, and financial opportunity.
The ongoing saga surrounding YNW Melly continues to captivate audiences, both for the explosive details of the trial and the unexpected twists in his family’s public narrative.
