‘You’ Debuts #1 on Netflix’s English TV List

Cardi B is not the only fan of Joe Goldberg, aka Professor Jonathan Moore. Season 4, Part 1 of You debuted on the English TV List in the #1 spot with 92.07M hours viewed, making it the most-watched title this week.

The murder-mystery series starring Penn Badgley, which introduces a new group of “friends” or suspects, landed in the Top 10 in 90 countries. Fans also revisited Season 1 (19.24M hours viewed) and Season 3 (11.44M hours viewed). 

Ginny & Georgia seasons 1 & 2 were mainstays on the list, with 15.79M hours viewed and 25.71M hours viewed, respectively. Wednesday also returned with 22.65M hours watched.

Viewers caught up with love hopefuls in Love is Blind: After the Altar, Season 3, as the reality dating series hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey pulled in 12.53M hours viewed.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, lovers flocked to the romantic comedy Your Place or Mine starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. The cross-country love story directed by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses) topped the English Films List with 51.23M hours viewed and appeared in the Top 10 in 91 countries.

True Spirit had 20.73M hours viewed, You People with 20.4M hours viewed, and Pamela, a love story with 8.71M hours watched, all returned to the list.  

Korean reality competition series Physical 100 powered its way to the top of the Non-English TV List with 41.61M hours viewed.

Additional returning Korean series are the drama Alchemy of Souls Part 2 and the romantic comedies Crash Course in Romance and The Interest of Love.

Meanwhile, Mexican drama La Reina del Sur season 3, Spanish mystery The Snow Girl, and Colombian drama Til Money Do Us Part were mainstays on the list. New entrants include the Korean romantic comedy Love to Hate You and the Indian drama Class. 

On the Non-English Films side, the Oscar-nominated German film All Quiet on the Western Front held strong for the 12th week. Norwegian films Viking Wolf, Narvik, and Troll continued to be fan favorites, along with Italy’s My Name is Vendetta.
