Crunchyroll, the global leader in anime, announced today that tickets are now on sale for a one-day-only theatrical release of KIZUMONOGATARI -Koyomi Vamp- in the United States and Canada. This highly anticipated reimagining of the KIZUMONOGATARI trilogy will hit select theaters on August 28.
Distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, the film offers fans a unique opportunity to experience the visually stunning animation of Tatsuya Oishi on the big screen. KIZUMONOGATARI -Koyomi Vamp- presents an edited compilation of the original trilogy, produced by SHAFT, and will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles.
The film made its North American debut at the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 27, drawing enthusiastic crowds of anime aficionados.
KIZUMONOGATARI -Koyomi Vamp- follows the story of high school student Koyomi Araragi as he encounters the enigmatic vampire, Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade. Directed by Tatsuya Oishi and based on the original story by NISIOISIN, the film offers a fresh perspective on the beloved Monogatari series.
