A Florida mother was caught on her neighbor’s camera physically abusing her 3-year-old child, according to NBC Miami. 29-year-old Yulia Storozhuk was arrested on Tuesday for two counts of child abuse, according to an arrest report.
The incident happened on Monday evening in a Miami condominium building, and a neighbor’s ring camera captured the entire thing. The mother was seen throwing the child around and repeatedly kicking him as he attempted to stand up. After 40 minutes, Storozhuk was seen pushing her son in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground.

The neighbor reported the incident to the local police, which resulted in Storozhuk being arrested. The child had bruises on their forehead, right forearm, and knee, according to investigators.
He’d also gotten scratches on his stomach and back, which he blamed on his mother. The Department of Children and Families is said to be looking into the matter.
When Yulia Storozhuk bonded out of jail on Wednesday night, she told reporters she was sorry and loved her son. “I’m so sorry, I won’t do this anymore,” Storozhuk said. “I’m a single mom, and it was only one incident where I let my emotions get the best of me.” Storozhuk is barred from contacting her son, and she will be arraigned in 30 days.
