Yulissa Escobar Caught on Camera Repeatedly Using the N-Word Ahead of Love Island USA Season 7 Debut

Peacock, come collect your girl.

Before the villa gates have even squeaked open for Season 7 of Love Island USA, one of its so-called “bombshells,” Yulissa Escobar, has detonated the entire fanbase’s goodwill by casually dropping the N-word not once, not twice, but with the frequency of a TikTok sound bite. And people are pissed.

On June 1st, a fan account (@celebsnapz) posted two videos of Escobar casually flinging around anti-Black slurs like it’s happy hour in hell. In the first video, she is seen declaring, “You fuck my n*gga. Perfect. But that’s it. Like, now I’m fucking my n*gga. He’s mine, n*gga. Like, bye b*tch.” That’s three slurs in one sentence, in case you’re counting. In the second clip, she asks someone, “Are you that n*gga that controls what she wears?”

And no, before you ask: Yulissa Escobar is not Black. She’s from Miami, Florida, and no, that’s not an ethnicity.

Naturally, Twitter (sorry, X) detonated like a Chanel powder compact hitting tile. And the fans are not holding back. Let’s take a tour of the digital dragging:

“Why she have to say it so many times ?!?”
A question for the ages, honestly.

“3 times in the span of 5 seconds is crazy someone put me in a room alone with her”
Somebody’s ready to throw hands.

“With the budget Love Island USA have, they can’t get simple background check done?”
Honestly, a valid HR concern.

“GET THIS BITCH OFF THIS SHOW IMMEDIATELY”
Succinct. Powerful. To the point.

“Oh don’t even unpack your suitcase hoe”
And there it is. Straight from the passport office of cancellation.

“They should just remove her from the cast at this point, how can one person be a pick me, Trumpie, and a racist?? Like pick a struggle”
read so thorough it deserves a Pulitzer.

“Love island put this 4’10 anti Black racist Trump loving ho in a villa with Black people. They do this every season, it’s annoying.”
Please, someone revoke casting’s WiFi privileges.

The Audacity Is 4’10” and Wearing Platform Heels

For context, 27-year-old Yulissa Escobar is fresh off a breakup from a nine-year relationship. “He left me,” she explained in her intro. “I’m glad he broke my heart because look at me here.” Girl, where are you? In the middle of a cancellation spiral before the show’s even premiered.

Oh, and her ideal man? “I want my man to nurture me. I’m your baby. I am a baby. I’m 4’10.” Sis, you are not a baby. Babies don’t shout slurs. Babies don’t get dropped by fan accounts and nearly incite Twitter riots.

At this point, the only thing nurturing her is the very public backlash and it’s growing by the second.

Production Has Some Explaining to Do

The fury isn’t just aimed at Escobar. Fans are coming hard for the Love Island USA production team, too:

“Did love island not do any type of background checks holy shit”

“Yeah @loveislandusa producers need to most definitely answer for this and the answer would be to rescind and remove Yulissa, ASAP, period.”

“Bet $100 that her “apology” is that she’s from Miami and that ‘it’s something we just say there’ 😭”
Which would make this the least surprising cop-out in reality TV history.

Fans are demanding immediate removal, pre-villa. Many are betting she’ll be gone before the first recoupling. Others want her dragged out of the villa by her lip gloss.

At this point, even if Escobar survives the public backlash, she’s entering the villa with all the popularity of a rash. The girls will know. The boys will know. The viewers will definitely know. No amount of eyelash fluttering or bikini posing will undo the PR disaster of being The Girl Who Said The N-word multiple Times And Smiled About It.

Premiere? More Like Public Execution

Love Island USA Season 7 premieres Tuesday, June 3 on Peacock. That’s right. Just in time for viewers to get their torches ready.

Episodes will air daily at 6PM PT / 9PM ET during premiere week and then Thursdays through Tuesdays because apparently, even problematic cast members get a day off.

But something tells us Yulissa Escobar may not last past the title sequence.

Until then, one last quote to send this off:

“Chile…how does her digital print KEEP getting worse!? Need her OFF my show omg like this isn’t even up for discussion anymore.”

We couldn’t agree more.
