According to court documents, a teenager from Tulsa has been sentenced to over 50 years in prison due to his participation in a drive-by shooting.

Noah Ney faced his initial charges in December 2022, which included multiple counts of firearm possession, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, as well as assault and battery with a deadly weapon, use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon, and a gang-related offense.

Ney was charged after shooting another juvenile with a pistol, as stated in an affidavit.

In August, Ney, who had been arrested and awaiting sentencing, escaped from juvenile detention along with another detainee named Ja’Koby Golston, according to police.

Ney was rearrested on Thursday, August 17th, after having been on the run for almost four days. Ney has been charged, but he has not yet undergone any sentencing for his escape.
