Aarin Sarpee: The Witness In Breonna Taylor Case Initially Told Investigators He Didn’t Hear Police Identify Themselves

A CHANGE OF HEART?

The key witness in the Breonna Taylor case, Aarin Sarpee initially told investigators that he didn’t hear police say who they were before ramming through Taylor’s door. Two months later, he drastically changed his recollection.

Vice News obtained and released Aarin Sarpee’s first interview with investigators following the murder of Breonna Taylor.

Aarin Sarpee is the only witness the grand jury heard from the entire trial. This entire investigation is starting to feel like a cover up. Earlier this month, Breonna Taylor family attorney revealed Taylor’s ex-boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover was offered a plea deal, which would have required him to say that Taylor was part of his drug operation.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron says shots fired by police were justified earlier this week in a news conference. No officers were charged directly for the killing of Breonna Taylor.
