The K-pop girl group aespa released an album titled “SYNK: COMPLæXITY 2026 Special Digital Single,” featuring four songs. It features solo tracks originally performed by aespa members at the Seoul opening shows of the world tour. SM Entertainment and Capitol released the digital single on popular audio platforms. “SYNK: COMPLæXITY 2026 Special Digital Single” includes “16 Bit” by Karina, “Saddle Up” by Winter, “BYEB4HELLO” by Giselle, and “I Love You But I Gotta Let You Go” by Ningning.
Each of the songs presents the individual style and creative ideas of each aespa member by exploring issues of personal identity, confidence, and love. Karina expresses her doubts about self-identity through pixel fragmentation in “16 Bit.” Winter’s “Saddle Up” carries a confident mood through its concept that actions speak louder than words. Inward-looking “BYEB4HELLO” by Giselle and “I Love You But I Gotta Let You Go” by Ningning depict the pain of impossible love and separation.
Karina wrote the lyrics for “16 Bit”. Both Giselle and Ningning helped write and compose their songs.
Each of the four songs is a part of the 2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR: SYNK: COMPLæXITY, which started in August with two shows at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. The show drew 35,000 attendees. After this, the tour continued with a sellout performance at Taipei Dome. Then aespa moved to Latin America to perform its first concert tour in the region in three years.
The largest audience was at the aespa concert in São Paulo: 21,000 people attended, making it the largest audience for a fourth-generation K-pop girl group in Brazil and the second-largest for any K-pop girl group in Brazil. aespa gave completely sold-out performances in Santiago, Lima, and Mexico City.
As shown, aespa received a more enthusiastic response in Latin America after three years away.
