A five-second video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez laughing and speaking animatedly with some men in a Bronx brewery is going viral, garnering 8+ million views on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
The video clips show the New York democrat mingling with customers while talking and gesticulating with their hands, and received a deluge of positive comments from various social media users.
“Is America ready for a hot president?” a user gushed. “America’s HOTTEST President is so NYC and just embodies a cool bartender turned member of Congress,” another commenter posted. “If I ever saw AOC in person at a bar, I think I would instantly crumble into shards of dust like Lord Voldemort,” one witty individual commented.
Commenters who identified as women were equally as supportive. “Her hotness is just increasing in her 30s. The 36-year-old congresswoman represents New York’s 14th Congressional District, which covers areas of the Bronx and Queens.
