Anaya Alexandria: Former Poogan’s Porch Employee Claims The Restaurant Is Racist

A video of a Tik Tok user is currently going viral after she experienced racism from her former company, Poogan’s Porch in South Carolina.

In the video, Anaya Alexandria reveals she found out her former Poogan’s Porch co-worker was making $5 dollars an hour more than her despite being at the company longer than that co-worker. She continues on by stating “she’s one of a few people who are making $5 dollars an hour more than me.” Alexandria was told that she was valuable to the company because she was one of the only people working there after the pandemic.

The most disturbing part of Tik Tok is when Anaya Alexandria messaged the company management team, pretty much letting them know that she will no longer be able to work for them going forward after being paid significantly less than other employees who have the same job as her. The all white management staff responded to her message by sending a black thumbs up emoji.

Many are calling for Anaya Alexandria to obtain a labor lawyer.
