Warner Bros. Pictures’ new thriller, The End of Oak Street, premiered its official trailer today. It is a survival movie set for cinema and IMAX release on August 14, 2026.
The plot follows the Platt family, whose peaceful suburban existence is disrupted by a mysterious event in outer space, forcing them to relocate. However, the family does not know where they go, so they have to be united to learn how to live under the new conditions.
The movie stars include Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, and Christian Convery.
The writer and director of the production is David Robert Mitchell. J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson, and Tommy Harper work as producers. Executive producers are Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee, and Leeann Stonebreaker.
Michael Gioulakis (director of photography), Maya Shimoguchi (production designer), John Axelrad (editor), Michael Giacchino (composer), and Erin Benach (costume designer) are among the key members of the crew.
Bad Robot Productions and Jackson Pictures Productions are behind the film. International distribution is provided by Warner Bros. Pictures starting from August 12, 2026.
